Our new library addition is now complete! We are still waiting for odds and ends, like some furniture, and landscaping. The initial landscaping has been done, and the rest will need to wait until fall and spring when we can plant certain flowers, trees, grass, etc.
The building is up and being used, but paying for this will be an ongoing task for a while. Our property tax increases are paying for the 'brick & mortar', and your donations are helping us with furniture, computers, and other needed equipment. You are welcome to come into the library or to talk to Pam, our librarian, about donating specific items. Cash donations are also welcome.
We are collecting donations for a brick pathway along our garden to connect the parking lot and future patio. The bricks are 8 1/4" by 4" in size, and are $100 each. You can customize your brick with whatever text you would like... 3 lines of 13 characters each for one brick. An example might be "Lake Wobegon Lake Association", or "In Memory of John & Mary Doe", or "In Honor of William S. Winegar". A form to be filled out to purchase a brick with your specific text can be found by clicking HERE, printing the page that appears, filling it out and mailing it it with your check to the library.
We are collecting donations for patio bricks for our future patio. The Patio Bricks 12 1/2" by 12 1/2" square, and are $250 each.
